Home Inspections

Although a general home inspection is not required to seal the deal, we strongly recommend it. Even the very best real estate agents and brokers cannot take the place of an experienced inspectionhome inspector. A professional inspector works for you, the buyer, and is trained to identify any problems the house might have, large or small. The cost of inspection varies, based on the size of the house and other conditions, but it is money well spent and can help avoid many problems down the road.

Although there is an extensive list of inspections, in addition to the general home inspection, that a buyer might want done before closing (check with your AQUINO HOMES  Agent for suggestions), several are worth noting specifically – the City Inspection (typically paid for by the seller), pest inspection, chimney and roof inspection, and a sewer lateral inspection. Problems revealed by any of these inspections should be addressed in negotiations.
