Realtors help Oklahoma tornado victims

 

MOORE, Okla. – May 21, 2013 – One of the tornadoes that hit Oklahoma yesterday was described as a “two-mile-wide lawnmower blade.” It caused a loss of life and property – and authorities expect more storms today.
While Oklahomans’ immediate needs cover everything from food to shelter, their long-term needs include housing and aid to get a business back in operation.
The Oklahoma Housing Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity, is run by the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. Trustees are meeting this afternoon to determine how money will be disbursed, with an eye on the needs of the state’s Realtors.
